Each whisky barrel contains on average 32 oak staves, each measuring approximately 90cm, handmade by a skilled cooper and inserted in order to create a sealed vessel that ages the drink we love so much. Only American White Oak is used in genuine Scotch whisky barrels, so every last stave has made a journey and has a story to tell.
This tealight candle holder makes a lovely centre piece or feature in any home. Also suitable for outdoor use in the summer months.
As with all our products, the oak is stripped back to reveal the natural colours and retain some patina created in the last 80 years, before being finished with the highest quality oils. Then fitted with our pewter Doghouse tag of authenticity.
